Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth is delighted to welcome back goalkeeper Ross Worner to his first-team squad after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Worner has not featured for the Shots since February after sustaining a serious back injury.
But the 23-year-old made his comeback in a youth team game on Tuesday evening, after making a full recovery, and is now expected to feature for Holdsworth's side in the coming weeks.
Holdsworth told the club's official website: "I am so pleased for Ross. It has been a difficult 10 months for him but he has battled through a frustrating period with dedication and determination.
"His enthusiasm is in abundance. I am hoping that this will be the restart of his career."
Holdsworth continued: "It has been excellent team work that has helped him through such a tough period too.
"Ashley Bayes and the club medical team should take great credit alongside the other goalkeepers at the club and team-mates too.
"Everybody has been there to help and support Ross. It has been fantastic and we are delighted to see him back on the pitch."
