Football - Hunt to have scan

Accrington defender Nicky Hunt will have a precautionary scan after being taken to hospital with concussion.

Hunt, on loan from Rotherham, was carried off on a stretcher after being knocked out early in the second half of their goalless draw at Plymouth in npower League Two.

Manager Leam Richardson told the club's official website: "He suffered what we think is a severe concussion. He's in good hands and he's conscious, moving and talking in hospital.

"He's going to have some precautionary X-rays and scans."
