There was little to write home about as the two teams failed to light up the King Power Stadium - with Foxes striker Chris Wood'slate shot against the post the stand-out moment.
That was the only incident to cause the visitors concern, though, as both sides extended their unbeaten start to the season to three matches.
Pearson described the Sky Bet Championship clash as a "decent game" and complemented Leeds for their game plan.
"I think it was always going to be tight," said Pearson. "Leeds came with a decent game plan and tried to limit the number of chances we had. We had the best clear-cut chances but we were unable to take one.
"I thought it was an interesting game with two decent sides who cancelled each other out. It was a decent game and I felt comfortable throughout.
"You credit Leeds for how they went about the game and that was how games are in the Championship - very tight and there for the taking."
