Football - Powell to mix it up

Manager Chris Powell could make changes to his flagging Charlton side as they welcome Derby.

The Addicks lost 2-1 to Ipswich on Boxing Day, their third defeat on the bounce and fifth game without a win.

Powell wants a response from his players and he looks set to recall midfielder Lawrie Wilson, who was suspended for the match against the Tractor Boys.

Experienced striker Ricardo Fuller has been struggling with a hamstring injury and his game time will be limited until he is back to full fitness.

The Jamaican managed 81 minutes on Boxing Day but could start on the bench against the Rams.

Goalkeeper Ben Hamer should shake off a knock and defender Cedric Evina could earn a recall after recovering from a knee injury.

Rhoys Wiggins (foot), Andy Hughes (Achilles) and Ade Azeez (hamstring) all remain sidelined.
