Argentinian striker Ulloa, a January signing from Spanish side Almeria, made himself an instant Seagulls hero with two goals as Brighton beat their derby rivals 3-0.
He said: "I'm very happy because we needed to get the points and because of my goals. In Argentina we call games like this a Clasico.
"When I was at Castellon we played against our rivals Villarreal and I scored, and also for Almeria against our rivals in Andalucia.
"This was beautiful. There were not as many people in the stadium at Almeria. But here you feel the warmth from the fans.
"Things have been positive since I've been here. It's physically more intense but I'm getting used to it. But my body is asking me for a break now."
