The inaugural Bahamas event on the women's tour was shortened to 12-hole rounds after terrible conditions delayed the start and waterlogged the course.
Moreno, chasing her first career LPGA Tour win, leads Lyndsey Wright by one shot at nine under overall, with Wright surging into contention after a remarkable seven-under 38 in the third round.
“It’s been exciting and I just focus on what I can control and the holes ahead of me,” Moreno said. “I’m very excited for tomorrow.”
Australia's Wright is also chasing a maiden win, and her effort - which included seven birdies - has put her in the frame.
“I just played faultless golf really,” said Wright. “I didn't make any mistakes. I made a ton of putts.”
Cristie Kerr and Hee Kyung Seo are three shots off the lead on six under.
