    Horse Racing - Black Caviar raring to go again

    Black Caviar, the world’s most famous mare, has made her first public appearance in the build-up to her long-awaited return in the race that bears her name: the Black Caviar Lightning Stakes, held at Caulfield.

    Black Caviar suffered a torn muscle in scoring her last win, when she edged Moonlight Cloud into second in last June’s Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Ascot.

    Now ready to race again, the Peter Moody horse limbered up for her next appearance, in the Black Caviar Lightning Stakes, with an exhibition gallop under her favourite jockey Luke Nolen, whetting the appetite of punters and pundits alike, anxious to see her score her 23rd win in 23 outings.
