The Medicean colt raced uncontested down the middle of the track for the majority of proceedings, taking control of the race going into ‘The Dip’.
Zanetto was pushed out to the line, winning by three-quarters of a length from Clancy Avenue, with Graphic Guest coming third.
Zanetto was a 7/1 shot before the race, while Clancy Avenue was valued at 17/2 and Graphic Guest at 16/1.
Winning trainer Liam Keniry said afterwards a prep run for the horse proved key to success.
"He's quite a stuffy horse and blew up the first day,” Keniry explained. “It put him spot on for this.
"There's a Listed race at Ascot in a fortnight he could go for, we'll see how he is.
“He's a useful horse but that has always been his target. Anything else now would be a bonus."
