The 29-year-old has signed a three-year contract for the club where he made 81 league appearances and scored 17 goals between 2006 and 2009.
Huszti returns to Germany after a successful spell in Russia in which Zenit won back-to-back league titles.
Neither club has disclosed any further details about Huzsti's move.
