    Kujabi earns Hibs deal

Hibernian have announced the signing of Gambia international left-back Pa Saikou Kujabi on an 18-month contract.

The 25-year-old has been on trial at Easter Road and has previously experienced European football at Austrian clubs Grazer AK and SV Ried and FSV Frankfurt in Germany.

Kujabi said on www.hibernianfc.co.uk: "I'm really happy to sign for Hibs. I have to thank the manager (Pat Fenlon) for believing in me and making me a Hibs player. I can't wait to start here and show the Hibs fans what I can give back to the club. I love it here, everybody has been very welcoming and it already feels like home."

Kujabi has also previously had trials with Portsmouth, Queens Park Rangers and West Ham.

Hibs have also signed former Rangers trialist Jorge Claros on a 12-month loan deal.

They swooped after the Honduran midfielder failed to secure a move to the Scottish champions after spending a couple of weeks on trial.

The club confirmed on Tuesday night they have now reached an agreement to take the 26-year-old on loan from Motagua, a top-flight club from the player's homeland and in a third deadline day deal Roy O'Donovan signed on loan from Coventry until the end of the season.

He has made just 17 appearances since arriving at the Sky Blues in the summer of 2010.

The move to Easter Road sees him join forces again with Coventry team-mate James McPake, who joined Hibs on a similar deal last week. Hibs also confirmed Matt Doherty has joined on loan from Wolves until the end of the season, bringing their transfer business to four new players on deadline day.

In other news, Akpo Sodje and Michael Hart have both parted company with Hibernian by mutual consent.
