Huddersfield striker Alan Lee has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
The 33-year-old, who joined the Terriers from npower Championship side Crystal Palace in the summer of 2010, has scored 10 goals in 76 appearances for Simon Grayson's side.
Grayson told the club's official website: "It's great Alan will continue with us. He's a great influence in the changing room and gives us a different type of option in attack with his physical presence and aerial ability."
He added: "He also has good experience of the Championship and I've no doubt he will help some of his younger team-mates adapt to the challenges this division will bring."
Lee, whose previous clubs include Rotherham, Cardiff, Ipswich and Palace, added: "I can't wait for the season to start. Ever since the Wembley celebrations I've wanted the new season to come around and to have Cardiff on the opening day is terrific."
Meanwhile, Huddersfield have confirmed a pre-season friendly against Barcelona B at the Galpharm Stadium on Wednesday, August 8. The Spanish giants' second team includes the likes of Cristian Tello, Marc Muniesa, Alejandro Grimaldo and Jean Marie Dongou, who are all pushing for a place in the senior side next season.
