The Argentine Coach, who was unveiled as Tito Vilanova’s successor last Friday, will stay in the Catalan capital to meet some of the squad who have returned to preseason.
Those players who represented their countries at the Confederations Cup were granted extra time off, and have only returned to training this week.
As such, Sport have claimed that Martino will not travel with the team to Poland, but instead meet up and talk face-to-face with some of those internationals.
Players returning this week include Gerard Pique, Xavi Hernandez, Neymar and Andres Ineista.
