    Millers exit for Brown

Defender Troy Brown has left Rotherham after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.

The former Ipswich centre-back, who spent the second part of last season on loan at Aldershot, had a year left to run on the two-year deal he signed last summer, but he has now left the club.

"Having met with Troy and discussed in depth the options going forward, we both came to the conclusion that he perhaps would not be involved in the team as much as we need players to be," Evans said.

"He has been a smashing young man in every aspect since Paul Raynor and myself arrived and we all wish him every success."
