Ronnie Moore wants his Tranmere players to rise above the anticipated party atmosphere at Bournemouth this weekend.
The Cherries welcome boss Eddie Howe back to Dean Court for his first game in charge in his second spell at the club, just short of two years since he departed to take the reins at Burnley.
Moore told Press Association Sport: "We know it will be razzmatazz, won't it? There's no doubt about that. The manager's back - the king's here, long-live the king. It will be one of those days. But we've got to play the team not the occasion, that's what we've got to do."
He added: "We've got to go there and not get involved in it. They'll welcome him back because he did such a great job when he was there the first time.
"If you had to pick a game this weekend to play you probably wouldn't pick that one, but it's a big game we've got to play.
"Don't play the occasion, just get out there and play the way we've been playing. If we do that we're capable of beating any team in this league, not just Bournemouth."
