During a race in which several riders crashed out after losing front-end grip - including Cal Crutchlow from fourth position - Lorenzo spoke of the need for more durable front rubber.
"The front tyre was probably too soft," he said when asked about the spate of crashes that took place in the early laps of the race.
"In every race we are trying to ask Bridgestone to give us harder compounds on the front but for the moment it's not arriving.
"Hopefully for the next tracks it will arrive because in some braking zones it's a little bit dangerous."
Nicky Hayden and Andrea Iannone also suffered low-side crashes within a lap of Crutchlow, while Dani Pedrosa felt his ability to challenge for the win was limited by the front tyre performance.
Lorenzo's 26th MotoGP win has moved him to within seven points of Pedrosa in the championship table.
