Aironi claimed back-to-back home wins in the RaboDirect PRO12 with a 20-6 victory over Connacht in a bottom-of-the-table clash at the Stadio Zaffanella.
Fly-half Luciano Orquera kicked a 15-point haul and Sinoti Sinoti scored a second-half try for the Italian side as Connacht recorded their 13th game in a row without a win.
The result means Aironi are now just three points adrift of Connacht and Newport Gwent Dragons at the bottom of the table
Matthew Jarvis and his replacement Niall O'Connor kicked the visitors' points.
