The club have revealed that the 31-year-old will return to training after the international break and will miss England's friendly against Italy as well as the World Cup qualifiers with Moldova on September 7 and Ukraine four days later.
"Scott Parker has undergone successful surgery to his right Achilles," Spurs said on their website. "The midfielder is expected to return to training after the international break in September."
Parker missed Tottenham's final four Premier League matches with an Achilles injury but still played for his country at last summer's European Championship.
