Leeds striker Billy Paynter could be on his way from the club, with Doncaster believed to be one side interested in his services.
Whites boss Neil Warnock is keen to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new campaign but Paynter, who has scored just three times in 27 league appearances for the Elland Road side, is deemed surplus to requirements.
Transfer-listed at the end of last season, Paynter, 28, didn't feature in Leeds' tour of the south west last week and missed the games against Tavistock and Bodmin as a precaution before leaving the squad ahead of the Torquay game for talks about a possible move.
"Billy's talked to a few clubs," Warnock told the club's website. "There's a number after him but it's got to be right for us."
