Exeter director of football Steve Perryman is making good progress in his recovery from heart surgery.
Perryman, Tottenham's record appearance holder and capped once by England, underwent a successful operation at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth at the start of May having been taken ill during Exeter's League One encounter against Sheffield United.
A statement on the club's official website on Monday read: "Steve has had a couple of very good days and his recovery has accelerated positively.
"His views on the Norway v England game were as sharp as ever.
"He has now been moved into a regular ward and it is hoped he can be moved to the RD&E (Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital) in the not too distant future."
