Cudicini has been turning out for LA Galaxy over the past two months, but The Sun reports he is claiming the crash involving Asda customer service employee worker Jennifer Bernard cost him an estimated £8.8 million in expenses, loss of earnings and future loss of wages.
The former Spurs and Chelsea goalkeeper earned up to £40,000 a week during his days in the Premier League, but is pressing ahead with the lawsuit against mother-of-three Bernard and her insurers after breaking a wrist and his pelvis when his motorbike collided with the woman's £500 Ford Fiesta in November 2009.
Cudicini's expenses includes a chauffeur bill for £8,235 while he is also wanting compensation for the month he spent with his mother, claiming she is out of pocket to the tune of £800 for acting as his carer.
Cudicini claims the accident cost him his prospects of earning a regular game at Spurs with the London club recruiting Brad Friedel as cover to rival Heurelho Gomes while he was out.
Clark is not financially liable, but is listed as a defendant with the insurers, and received court papers from the footballer's lawyers. He alleges that his injuries were the result of Clark's 'negligence'.
Miss Bernard said: “I could see he was making a claim but I couldn’t understand why. I just think it’s greed.”
