The paper says that centre-back Laurent Koscielny is on Bayern's wish list as they look to replace veteran Daniel van Buyten who is likely to leave the Bundesliga giants in the summer.
According to the Mail: "Koscielny was tracked by Barcelona during Guardiola's final season in Spain and his since continued to go from strength to strength since his arrival in North London three years ago. "
The paper says that Bayern would also like Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels but that deal is unlikely as the two clubs have been at war over the Bayern's pursuit of striker Robert Lewandowski.
Prising away Koscielny won't be easy either as the French international signed a new deal with Arsenal only last summer.
The Mail picks up on quotes from the 27-year-old from just last month when he said: "I still have four years left on my contract after June. I feel good in the club - they have faith in me. I'm happy in London, my family too. I'm not thinking about [leaving]."
However, Guardiola showed his ability to prise away Arsenal assets while at Barcelona – Cesc Fabregas being the most famous example – and is expected to be handed a huge war chest to stamp his authority on the already elite squad he will inherit from Jupp Heynckes.
To some other rumours and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on a summer move for Manchester City defender Micah Richards according to the Daily Mirror but will face competition.
The paper says: "Liverpool have made an enquiry and are among a clutch of clubs who are interested in signing 24-year-old Richards.
"Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are also watching developments closely while Real Madrid and Juventus have checked on his availability.
"Richards has struggled with injury this season but City are reluctant to let him go and are likely to slap a £15m price tag on him to try and stop him leaving the Blues this summer."
