Hart denied his England team-mate Lampard during Manchester City's 2-0 win against Chelsea last Sunday, thanks to a combination of anticipation and great agility.
Watch our Tactical Brain video and look at the Opta stats below for more insight into Hart's feat, and this season's Premier League penalty saves.
LAMPARD
Lampard used to have a strong bias towards the bottom-left corner - between August 2006 and December 2009, he placed 10 of 14 penalties there.
More recently he has mixed things up. Before Sunday, only three of his previous 13 had gone in that corner.
Hart's save was Lampard's fourth failure in 22 attempts - he had converted all but one of his first 24 Premier League penalties.

HART
So was Hart's decision the right way just guesswork? Not necessarily.
This was Hart's fourth Premier League penalty save, and three of those were in the bottom-left corner.
He also dived that way earlier this season against Fulham's Mladen Petric, who found the opposite corner.

PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON
Hart's save was the 12th in the Premier League this season, while a further three penalties have missed the target.
Penalty takers have managed a 76 per cent conversion rate so far this season - pretty much in line with previous seasons.
