The defender scored a third goal in four games to continue his unlikely hot streak, with Swansea on the receiving end in a 4-3 victory for the Canaries.
LB: Patrice Evra - Manchester United
The United captain helped keep Manchester City quiet for the first half and then clung on admirably as the visitors secured a dramatic 3-2 victory.
LW: Robert Snodgrass - Norwich City
He was a consistent threat down Swansea’s left flank all day and his set piece deliveries were excellent, Snodgrass capping off his performance with a fine free-kick.
MD: Jack Wilshere - Arsenal
The young midfielder continues to improve as he returns from long-term injury. Combined slick passing and terrific vision with a fiery competitive streak in a 2-0 win over West Brom.
MD: James McCarthy - Wigan
McCarthy again showed his class with two goals in a 2-2 draw at home to QPR and produced a cultured display in the middle of the park.
RW: Antonio Valencia - Manchester United
Valencia's return to the first team was a successful one as he supplied a succession of dangerous crosses from the right and caused City no end of problems.
FW: Wayne Rooney - Manchester United
His clinical first-half brace set the tone for a dramatic 3-2 derby win over Manchester City, although Robin van Persie stole the headlines.
FW: Fernando Torres - Chelsea
Torres scored his first Premier League goal in 12-and-a-half hours and promptly added a second and then an assist as he continued his rebirth under Rafael Benitez.
