The Pole’s superb penalty stop denied Grant Holt a winner for Norwich City.
CB: Maya Yoshida (Southampton)
A great performance at the back from the Japan defender, who has adapted well to life in England.
CB: Chris Samba (QPR)
QPR shelled out a club-record fee on the towering defender for a reason: if they stay up, he will play a huge part in that. Dominant against Sunderland.
CB: Jan Vertonghen (Spurs)
The Belgium defender showed his power at set-pieces with a brace in the 3-2 defeat.
RM: Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
A match-winning penalty from the England midfielder, who has returned to his best in what is proving to be an Indian summer for his career.
CM: Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle United)
Yet another fantastic long-range strike from the France midfielder, this time from a free-kick as Toon came from behind to beat Stoke City.
CM: Andros Townsend (QPR)
Townsend hit an incredible volley from outside the box to cap a fine performance in midfield as QPR came from behind to beat Sunderland.
LM: Gareth Bale (Tottenham)
No goals this time for Bale, but he was involved in both of his team's strikes at Anfield as his deliveries from wide wrought havoc with the Liverpool defence.
CF: Loic Remy (QPR)
The French striker’s early QPR career has been interrupted by injury, but he is a class above their other forwards and it showed again with a cool finish.
CF: Luis Suarez (Liverpool)
With Bale, the Uruguayan is a leading candidate for player of the season after adding goals to his fine all-round game. Scored the opener against Spurs.
CF: Romelu Lukaku (West Brom)
Chelsea could do with a striker of Lukaku’s power and finishing ability and, while he did miss a penalty, the on-loan Belgian finished superbly from open play as West Brom beat Swansea.
