Darron Gibson could return for Everton. The midfielder has been out since early September when he was forced out of his side's 2-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion due to a thigh problem. Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy looks set to make the trip to his former club after making good progress from a knee injury.
Manchester United v Queens Park Rangers - 3pm
Wayne Rooney has been passed fit following a bout of tonsillitis to face managerless QPR.
Stoke could be without defender Andy Wilkinson. Fulham will again be without a number of key players.
Wigan Athletic v Reading - 3pm
Wigan manager Roberto Martinez could be without seven first-team players. Reading manager Brian McDermott could welcome Jimmy Kebe back into his squad.
Aston Villa v Arsenal - 5.30pm
Aston Villa striker Darren Bent is back in contention after a three-game absence due to an ankle injury. Arsenal will again be without forward Theo Walcott (shoulder). Defender Andre Santos (stomach muscle) is also out.
SUNDAY
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup has Ki Sung-yueng and Kyle Bartley back in his squad. Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is expected to be fit fter sustaining a knee injury in the Europa League.
Southampton v Newcastle United - 3pm
Frazer Richardson and Richard Chaplow remain Southampton's only absentees. Midfielder Cheick Tiote returns to the Newcastle squad after missing out in Europe through suspension.
Chelsea v Manchester City - 4pm
Rafael Benitez must decide whether to recall Fernando Torres for his first game in charge. Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany (knee) will be given a fitness test after suffering injury late in the midweek clash with Real Madrid.
Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United - 4pm
Tottenham playmaker Moussa Dembele is a doubt despite making his comeback from a month-long hip injury lay-off at Lazio. West Ham winger Matt Jarvis will return to the squad after he missed the draw with Stoke with a shin injury.
