Derby remain interested in signing highly-rated Mansfield defender Tom Naylor.
The Stags are resigned to losing the centre-half after he attracted interest from a host of clubs.
Naylor has had trials at Fulham, Derby and Burnley over the last couple of months, while Bournemouth had a bid for the 20-year-old rejected by Mansfield.
Naylor impressed Rams boss Nigel Clough during his training stint at Pride Park.
Clough said: "I don't think that one is dead in the water yet. Tom is a young player, at 20, who we feel could develop and improve into a Championship player."
