    Rodgers teaches Brown a lesson

AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown believes you can teach an old dog new tricks.

The 59-year-old this week attended a coaching clinic headed by Swansea's bright young manager Brendan Rodgers.

"It offered an interesting insight as Brendan was told by certain people that Swansea would not be able to play their football when they got promoted to the Premier League," he told the Dons' website. "Brendan was told that the Premier League was quicker and faster with players that would press and stop you playing. But Swansea stuck to their footballing principles and it has worked."

"There are similarities between our situation and theirs. We also got promoted last season and have had to try and play our football without fear in a league when your life depends on staying up. You have to stick to your principles and beliefs.

"If you ever stop learning, then you are in trouble. I am sure that Sir Alex Ferguson will tell you that he is still learning."
