They were paired together in Thursday's draw, which was made by Salford's flamboyant new owner Marwan Koukash and former Wigan and Great Britain full-back Kris Radlinksi, and will be aiming to land a third-round tie against Kingstone Press Championship opposition when the second-tier clubs enter the competition at the next stage.
The 14 Super League clubs enter the competition at the fourth-round stage on March 5-6.
