Scottish Football - Team news: Mulgrew out for Celtic

Team news ahead of Sunday's SPL matches.

    Dundee United v Celtic

Dundee United striker Johnny Russell could miss the visit of SPL champions Celtic as he feels stiff after his return from a broken leg. And long-term absentees Gavin Gunning and Sean Dillon are still missing for the Arabs. However, Keith Watson and Barry Douglas could be in contention after injury.

Defender Charlie Mulgrew will miss Celtic's clash with Dundee United at Tannadice with a knee injury. Right-back Adam Matthews is a major doubt for the trip to Tayside after picking up a knock. Striker Lassad Nouioui is still out with a calf injury.

    Ross County v Inverness

Ross County captain Richard Brittain misses out after he sustained a medial knee ligament strain against Motherwell. Defender Branislav Micic (dislocated shoulder) and goalkeeper Mark Brown (fractured hand) remain out.

Inverness midfielders Richie Foran and Ross Draper are suspended for Sunday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Ross County. Goalkeeper Ryan Esson and defenders Gary Warren and Simon King remain out. Manager Terry Butcher has no fresh injury problems.

    St Johnstone v Motherwell

Motherwell striker Henrik Ojamaa returns from suspension for the clash with St Johnstone. Manager Stuart McCall is considering giving goalkeeper Lee Hollis a game to stake his claim for next season after Darren Randolph agreed to join Birmingham. Motherwell have a full squad for the game with the likes of Nicky Law and Steven Saunders looking for farewell appearances.

St Johnstone will be without Frazer Wright, who is serving a two-match ban for violent conduct against Celtic's Mikael Lustig in last week's 4-0 defeat at Parkhead. Manager Steve Lomas hope to have midfielders Mehdi Abeid (thigh) and Chris Millar (hamstring) back in contention.
