Skipper Lee McCulloch is still a doubt with an ankle injury, while Kal Naismith is suspended for two games and Ross Perry is out with the knock that forced him out of last week's defeat at Dundee United.
Francisco Sandaza is sidelined with a hamstring strain, while Lewis Macleod, Kevin Kyle and Darren Cole remain in the treatment room.
Ally McCoist's side have endured heavy criticism after losing 3-0 at Dundee United a week ago in the last 16 of the Scottish Cup, but are a massive 19 points clear of second-placed Queen's Park having played two more games.
“I said right at the start of the season we had to win the league and get out of the division," said McCoist. "We’re doing absolutely fine on that front at the moment.
“There are going to be periods throughout the season when we don’t play well or we do and the result goes against us. These things can happen.
“We are no different from anybody else but at the same time, I think it’s an indication of the size of club and the expectancy that we’ll receive criticism when we don’t win.
“If you took a wee step back and looked at the league as it is just now, you’d settle for where we are. Of course you would.
“We’re still getting criticism though which is totally understandable and acceptable. I’ve been at this club long enough to know that happens."
