The goalkeeper - who alongside Italy Euro 2012 team-mates Andrea Pirlo and Mario Balotelli missed out on the final shortlist for the FIFA Ballon d'Or award - is in talks with Juve about extending his contract beyond June 2013.
“I’ll sign my contract soon,” Buffon, 34, told La Nazione. “It is not a question of money and everything will be made official in a little while.
“If I left Juve then I would happily go back to Parma, the side who launched me at the top level.”
Buffon came through the youth set-up at Parma before joining Juve for £32 million 11 years ago - a world record fee for a goalkeeper.
