The former defender retired from the game in 2009, but has since not returned in any capacity.
The 44-year-old though, has insisted that could be persuaded to come back to the Rossoneri.
“Galliani? We have been together for 25 years,” he told Corriere dello Sport. “I was at Milan before he was.
“I think the experience of an ex-player can be important within a club, especially if that person has first-hand experience of the team.
“I am well aware though, that everyone has their own way of working and they want to surround themselves with people they trust.
“No one has ever tried to contact me.
“Of course I've met and spoke with Galliani over the years. But no, no one has asked me [to return].”
