Allegri has one more year left on his contract and wanted to have face-to-face talks with Berlusconi and vice-president Adriano Galliani before deciding whether to accept the Roma job.
However, the meeting has been postponed repeatedly from Monday to Thursday and now put back again to Sunday with Allegri forced to travel to Sardinia.
Meanwhile, Roma have reportedly set an ultimatum for Allegri to accept their offer by Saturday or they will look elsewhere.
