The Bosnia international has been linked with a move to the Spanish champions over the past few weeks.
And the Giallorossi midfielder has conceded that it would be tough to refuse a transfer to Camp Nou.
“I've always been a fan of Real Madrid, but it would be a pleasure to play for Barcelona,” he told Oslobodjenje.
“The Blancos have been my favourite team since I was a child, but it would be awkward refusing a proposal from Barcelona.
“At the moment I feel good in Rome, and at this point I do not know if I will leave the club in the summer.”
Roma striker Nicolas Lopez is likely to join Udinese, his representative has told Radio Mana Mana Sport.
The Uruguayan forward has failed to make an impression at Stadio Olimpico since his arrival from Nacional last summer.
And his agent has claimed that the young forward could be part of the deal that sees Medhi Benatia to join the Giallorossi.
“We are trying to send him to Udinese as part of the Benatia deal,” Pablo Betancourt told Radio Mana Mana Sport.
“But he has also been scouted by Cagliari, Torino, Verona, Catania and Siena.”
Gianluca Curci will return to Roma as Bologna cannot afford to keep the goalkeeper, his agent has revealed.
The shot-stopper was on loan at the Rossoblu last term, conceding 12 goals in 14 appearances.
But his representative has confirmed that the 27-year-old will go back to the capital.
“The situation is simple,” Silvano Martina told Radio Mana Mana Sport. “He has returned to Roma because Bologna do not have the funds to keep him.
“For me, Gianluca is worth €5-6 million, but it is a difficult time for Italian football.
“We do not have a problem with returning to Rome, but they have to focus on what's best for Gianluca.”
