Highly-rated Swedish striker Isak Nylen is believed to be training with Ipswich.
The 16-year-old, regarded as Sweden's answer to Peter Crouch due to his 6ft 7in frame, has caught the attention of a host of Premier League clubs due to his exploits with club side Brommapojkarna.
Nylen is heavily tipped to clinch a move to mainland Europe in January and the Portman Road club are currently understood to be taking a look at the teenager.
Meanwhile, Daryl Murphy got vital match practice under his belt with 45 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly against a West Ham second-string on Tuesday afternoon which finished in a 3-2 victory.
Murphy, who has failed to make a first-team appearance since September due to a hamstring injury, played the first half of the encounter at Town's training ground before being replaced by Ronan Murray, who bagged a second-half brace to turn the game around prior to setting up Nathan Ellington to volley home what turned out to be the winner.
The likes of Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Mark Kennedy. Tommy Smith and Reece Wabara also started in Town's XI.
