England Test squad members Joe Root, Stuart Meaker and Graham Onions will join the Performance Programme in training before this week's three-day fixture.
Eoin Morgan will follow them after close of play on day four of the second Test, as the EPP prepare for the match - set to start on Tuesday - in which injured fast bowler Steven Finn is hoping to test his recovery from a thigh strain.
It is thought Finn must be fit to take part against the DY Patil Academy XI if he is to play any further part in England's Test tour.
