Cardiff's latest signing Jordon Mutch believes it is only a matter of time before the club wins promotion to the Barclays Premier League.
The 20-year-old midfielder completed his move from Birmingham for an undisclosed fee last week when signing a three-year deal and feels everything about Cardiff is geared for the top flight.
Mutch told the club's official website: "The ambition of this club really excites me. I want to be in the Premier League and that's where I see this club heading with everything they're putting into it."
The England Under-21 international added: "I obviously know Malky from my time at Watford and I know how great he is as a manager. He brought me on loads while I was there. It was a time when I grew as a player, became stronger physically and matured.
"I'm also happy to be at such a big club, a great stadium and playing for such a big fan base. I've been told about the new training ground which is to be built and I'm looking forward to what the next 12 months can bring.
"Hopefully we can sign some more players to make the squad bigger and from there push for promotion. I've read about the Malaysian investment in Cardiff City and I'm sure there will be more new signings."
