Sheffield United manager Danny Wilson has hit out at the current transfer window system, insisting it only benefits Premier League clubs.
This is not the first time Wilson has been critical of the window set-up, with the Blades boss voicing his displeasure after striker Jordan Slew moved from South Yorkshire to Blackburn Rovers on deadline day 12 months ago.
Wilson told the club's official website: "I get sick of the windows - completely sick of them.
"Who does it benefit? What exactly does it achieve?
"It certainly doesn't help anyone in the lower leagues. In fact, it doesn't help anyone outside of the Premier League.
"As far as I'm concerned, it's got to be a restraint of trade but the powers-that-be seem to want them so, until they don't, I'm sure they're going to stay."
