Wolves defender Christophe Berra has been made available for transfer after requesting to leave the club.
The 27-year-old told new manager Stale Solbakken that he prefers a 'fresh challenge' ahead of the new season.
"Christophe has one year of his contract remaining and, after talks, has decided that he wishes to seek a fresh challenge elsewhere," Solbakken told the club's official website.
"As a result of that, and given his contract situation with only 12 months remaining, the club has reluctantly agreed to make him available for transfer.
"We currently have good competition for places in his position and I have already said I would like to bring in another central defender if possible.
"Christophe will continue to work with the first-team squad and be available for selection while the club await an offer which they believe to be acceptable for consideration."
