Jake Kaminski Biography
Kaminski, who has won a number of gold medals in archery team competitions over the past three years, will try to add to that total at his first Olympics while also seeking individual accolades. He has played a part in 11 team victories since the beginning of 2010, and will next seek to help the United States end its 12-year medal drought in the sport. Kaminski won one of those gold medals in the London Archery Classic in 2011, at the venue for these Olympics, and another at the Pan Am Games. He placed second individually at the world indoor championships and the indoor world cup finals in February, finishes that matched his best in international competition. Kaminski also came in second at the Mexican Grand Prix in 2009.
