Ed Scott Biography
Waterpolo goalkeeper Ed Scott will be key to the British team’s chances at the London 2012 Olympic Games. A successful junior, he was called up to the GB under-18 squad aged just 15. A member of the team at the European Junior Championships, he stepped up to the senior level when representing England at the 2006 Commonwealth Tournament in Perth. His displays earned him a club move to the Hungarian first division, and the standard helped him, seeing him named Most Valuable Goalkeeper at the European B Nations Trophy in 2007. A tournament win at the Mithat Hantel Memorial Tournament is a career highlight, but Scott will need to be at his best if a Team GB side are to upset the odds in the pool.
