Heather Petri Biography
A seasoned veteran, Petri is the oldest player on the U.S. women's water polo roster and is one of two players - along with fellow attacker Brenda Villa - to have won three Olympic medals. Petri and Villa have been members of every Olympic women's water polo team the United States has ever fielded. Petri has won silver medals with Team USA in 2000 and 2008, and a bronze at the 2004 Athens Games. Prior to joining the national team, she was an All-American at the University of California, tallying 96 goals during her college career. Petri had a goal and two assists during Team USA's silver-medal run at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. She has played professionally in Greece, Brazil and Italy.
