    • 80' Leinster defending for all they're worth here. Clermont are trying to set up the drop for James, and are gaining excellent ground. One more big drive...it comes back to James...he's missed!!!!!

Leinster have conceded an incredible 11 penalties so far, to Clermont's 3, but poor kicking throughout the game from James means it's the Irish side who still lead. 23-21.

Parra strikes it straight as an arrow...but it lacks the power and falls short, and there's the half-time whistle! Leinster 20-10 Clermont! A half of two halves, if you will.
    • 38' Sexton steps up, he's a good 45 yards out...SUPER KICK!!!! Straight as an arrow, and with easily enough power. he's giving James a lesson in kicking tonight. 20-10, and that after Clermont led 10-0 earlier.
    • 36' Leinster now have a penalty at the breakdown, and the tide of momentum seems to be turning Leinster's way.
    • 35' Sexton punts the kick over, and Leinster lead 17-10! The Clermont defence is looking decidedly shaky.
    • 34' McLaughlin with a huge drive for the line, but he's brought down superbly by Parra, now Heaslip takes it up...AND DRIVES OVER THE LINE, BUMPING OFF THE POST AS HE DOES SO!

    • 26' James goes for an outrageous drop goal from all of 40 yards, but it's a poor effort.

    • 24' Glorious pass out of the back of the hand from O'Driscoll sends McLaughlin through, he bursts through one tackle, drives for the line...TRY FOR LEINSTER!!! That was magic from O'Driscoll.
    • 22' Sexton makes no mistake, and they're on the scoreboard. That should give them some confidence after such a slow, nervy start.
    • 21' McLaughlin picks the ball up and breaks through the game line, he drives for the try line, but is held up, Sexton tries to take it on, but he's held up too...PENALTY! Right under the posts. A gimme for Sexton.
    • 19' First mistake from Clermont as Canale kicks straight to Van der Linde, who rampages forward like a man possessed. Super kick now from Kearney to gain a good 50 yards for the Irish side.

    • 16' Another penalty to Clermont as the stream of errors from Leinster shows no signs of ceasing!
