    • 80' Wales win lineout and Shanklin tries to go through the middle. But NZ defence is strong and they win scrum put in. McCaw picks up and feeds Conrad Smith who breaks a number of tackles. Wales knock on and ref blows for full time. NZ win 19-12. Decent effort from Wales, but NZ were mostly in control after upping tempo in the second half. Thanks for joining us.
    • 79' NZ pinch Wales' throw and with it probably win the game as Carter clears down field.
    • 79' Wales win penalty at scrum and kick to corner. One more chance for the home side.
    • 77' Interception Alun-Wyn Jones and the big lock races clear. But NZ hunt him down and he's uable to find the support. Wales retain ball but Roberts out wide is forced into touch. That was probably Wales' last chance.

    • 17' Wales looking to get some continuity going but NZ pinch ball and Carter tries to launch counter. Carter spills it forward and McCaw penalised - tad unlucky, for a change! Penalty Wales. Stephen Jones on target and makes it 3-3.
    • 13' Penalty NZ and Carter has first chance to get score on the board. Simple kick for the points machine and he nails it esaily to give NZ 3-0 lead.
    • 6' Hook almost caught deep in his own half, but finds Cooper and the scrum-half makes good ground before releasing his backs. Wales continue attack and NZ penalised for falling over the ball.

    • - There are a few unfamiliar faces for the All Blacks but it is still a formidable outfit lead by Richie McCaw as they go through their traditional haka. ThereÂ’s a packed house in Cardiff at a typically great atmosphere.
    • - Wales are missing Lee Byrne and Mike Phillips but still look a decent side, with James Hook replacing Byrne at full-back and Gareth Cooper repalcing Phillips at scrum-half. There is a first cap for Ospreys prop Paul James.
    • - One crucial piece of news for All Blacks fans and that is that Dan Carter will start. Not god news for Wales but I'm sure Warren Galtand's side would not have wanted it any other way as they try to win for the first time in 20 attempts.

  5. so even with wales playing very poor and having two­ huge ref blunders against them (the high tackle and the­ line out which wasnt knocked on), they still manage to­ only lose to the best team in the world by a try? NZL­ played well and deserved the win. Hopefully in the next­ encounter Wales can perform they way they should and we­ can give a better match.

  6. ffs how many times do we bottle the big occasion? james­ has no place and should not win a 3rd cap,ryan jones­ puzzles me and i wonder exactly what he does he­ certainly does get over the gain line any more,martyn­ williams simply aint up to it physically again the very­ best in the world,ryan powell runs round like a­ headless chicken? coopers delivery is like waiting for­ xmas,stephen jones runs like a f ucking robot and in­ his tin head he's only got a tiny 32mb­ brain,shanklin appears on the team selection but did­ anybody actually see him? If we'd had half of the­ irish pack today we'd have won comfortably-signing­ out one frustrated Welshman...
