    • 16:15 Captain Ryan Jones collects the silverware and Lee Byrne is awarded Man of the Match. Shane Williams rounds off a terrific week after collecting the IRB World Player of the year by scoring the first try to put Wales on the winning track.
    • 80' It's all over. Wales beat Australia 21 points to 18. What a match! A throughly deserved victory for the Welsh and they are the only northern hemisphere side to overcome a southern hemisphere team this Autumn.
    • 79' TRY!! Australia score with a last ditch attempt but then miss the conversion. It's not over yet though.
    • 78' And Jones kicks it! That's surley it now with an eight point lead with a minute left.
    • 77' Wales have another penalty after a great tackle by Shanklin on Smith. Jones with another penalty chance.
    • 75' Wales are awarded a penalty close to their own try-line. Australia protest but they don't release the ball again in the tackle.
    • 73' Wales penalised for not putting in straight in the scrum. Giteau kicks to the Welsh 22 to set-up another attack.
    • 70' The Wallabies are penalised for not releasing the ball after the tackle. A great roar rings round the stadium as we enter the final ten minutes. Can Wales hold on?
    • 67' DROP-GOAL!! Jones makes up a little for those two earlier penalty misses. Great kick!
    • 66' Here come Wales now with an attack of their own.
    • 63' A small scrap ensues before the players have to be seperated. Australia turn down a kick at goal for the corner and a forward pass brings their attack to an end.
    • 60' Wales at last have a turn-over which relieves some strong pressure near their own try-line.
    • 58' A chorus of 'Bread of Heaven' surrounds the Millennium stadium as there's a brief pause in play as both sides try to catch their breath.
    • 57' A great burst by Shane Williams and off-load sets up Cooper's kick and chase but the Aussies call for the mark and clear the danger.
    • 55' Play turning a little scrappy now as the referee has to stop play more frequently for infringements..
    • 51' The Aussies are penalised for bringing the scrum down but then Wales are found guilty of foul play in their own line-out.
    • 48' Australia are caught offside but again Jones misses another kick. These are crucial points not being taken.
    • 46' Giteau kicks successfully and it's only two points in it now.
    • 45' Strong pressure from the Aussies now. They're hitting the Welsh defence hard and fast and captain Ryan Jones concedes a penalty.
    • 42' Wales happy to keep possession in hand but one off-load too many hands the ball back to the Wallabies.
    • 41' Wales are gifted a penalty straight away. But Jones misses out on an easy 3 points.
    • 40' A great first half of rugby ends. Wales lead but will feel it should be more showing greater dominance with 55 percent possession and 64 percent teritorial advantage.
    • 35' Martyn Williams fails to gather a pass and knocks-on that would have seen a certain try. Wales making the most of playing 14 men here but are just losing ball at the crucial point.
    • 32' Jones converts to give Wales a 15-10 lead.
    • 31' TRY!! Full-back Lee Byrne scores a fine try with an angled run that splits the Australian defence. That's long been coming.

    • 28' Jones kicks the resultant penalty.
    • 27' Stephen Moore, Australia's hooker, is shown yellow for killing the ball after great pressure from Wales.
    • 24' Australia set-up the drop-goal attempt and it's a great kick from Giteau.
    • 21' The possession stats read 51 per cent Wales, 49 to Australia. The Wallabies have really come into it since their try that came out of the blue.
    • 20' Australia find another turnover. Jones charges down a kick but looses his footing when a try looked on.
    • 17' Jamie Roberts, who was involved in that early clash with Mortlock who was replaced by Cooper, has to also leave the field. Andrew Bishop replaces.
    • 13' TRY!! Second-rower Chisholm runs two-thirds of the pitch after an awkward bounce following a Welsh line-out evades the attention of Cooper. Giteau converts.
    • 12' Great play from the find of the season in Andy Powell but eventually the Aussies win a turnover.
    • 10' Lee Byrne catches his own up-and-under but is taken out, albeit accidentally, and a scrum-down is awarded.
    • 7' What a start! Wales keep up the pressure and win a line-out just outside the Wallabies 22.
    • 3' TRY!! Shane Williams finishes off a fantastic move. Brilliant rugby from the Welsh. It's fast, flowing rugby as Jones makes the initial break and great handling and off-loading set up Williams. Jones misses the conversion.
    • 2' Australian captain Mortlock stays down after a nasty clash after an interception attempt. And he's having to go off already. A big blow for the Aussies losing their captain.
    • 1' Giteau for Australia gets the match underway.
    • 14:28 The Welsh are in fine voice as ever for the national anthem under a closed roof in Cardiff.
    • 14:25 Welcome to LIVE text commentary of Wales v Australia from the Millennium Stadium. It should be a fascinating contest as Wales try to prevent a whitewash for all northern hemisphere sides this autumn.
