FT The ball comes loose and Jones kicks clear. The Lions have the win - the series belongs to South Africa but the Lions have shown an awful lot during this tour and have got a win that few would begrudge them.- 80' The hooter has gone but SA do have the ball.

76' Replay after replay is shown and it is still not conclusive - such a close decision - the VIDEO REFEREE SAYS NO TRY! - 71' Handbags involving a number of players after a little altercation between Brussouw and Mike Phillips. Brussouw is considered the trouble maker and the Lions have a penalty right in front of the posts. Looks a harsh decision though - Brussouw just pushed Phillips out of the mix.

- 63' SA keep ball in hand from inside their own 22 all the way into the Lions half - Stephen Jones gives a peanlty just to end the drive. Spies has come on for SA and will play on the wing in place of Nokwe.
- 61' The Lions win a penalty just inside their own half. Jones says he doesn't have the boot for it but Kearney has a go. He gets the length but it goes wide.
- 60' "Swing Low Sweet Chariots" coming from the Lions fans - SA not really looking too dangerous at the moment - the Lions have been ferocious throughout.
- 58' Great kick from replacement Francois Steyn puts the ball just outside the Lions 22 - but Ford and O'Connell work well off the line-out and clear.
- 56' A hosts of changes coming in - the Lions have Mike Phillips playing centre at the moment after Harry Ellis came on for Flutey. John Hayes also on for the redeemed Phil Vickery.
55' (6-22) TRY LIONS - Superb steal from Monye as he nicks a pass from Olivier to Kirchner on his own 22 and then explodes all the way under the posts. Jones converts too and surely the Lions have this in the bag now.- 54' SA win the line-out but are immediately pushed back with Martyn Williams playing a key role.
- 53' The Lions give away a penalty in the corner though and SA kick to touch - they will have a line-out right on the line.
- 52' Replacement Pienaar explodes off a line-out allowing SA to press - they then move the ball from left to right but Bowe makes a key tackle on Kirchner in the corner and the ball is knocked on.
- 50' Lions giving a few too many penalties away with hands in the ruck the latest offence. At least the penalties are ending their attacks though as opposed to handing scoring chances to the hosts.
- 48' Lions line out just ouside the 22 after an awful kick from Kirchner goes out on the full but AGAIN - not releasing - and South Africa can clear with a penalty.
- 47' Great stuff from O'Connell as he forces South Africa to hang onto the ball and wins a penalty.
- 46' Ndungane has space to storm forward but great tackle from Monye ends the attack.
- 45' Ohhh but the chance goes as Sheridan is charged with holding on right near the line. Great defence from SA though.
- 44' Heaslip finds Bowe and for a moment is looks like the Irishman is through but he is tripped close to the line. Jones moves forward a bit more now - the Lions really pressing.
- 43' The 14 men not just coping - they are attacking in the early stages of the half.
- 41' And we are back underway - Bismarck Du Plessis has come on for SA. Remember Shaw in the bin for another six mintues or so.
- HT And that is the last action of the half. The Lions lead 15-6 but they should not have conceded that late penalty and there was also the conversion that dropped off the tee. It could easily be 17-3.
- 40' (6-15) And now the Lions give away a penalty down the left. Steyn slices the post too so SA are handed a free three points just before the break.
- 40' With time up Kearney cannot find touch with the kick - silly stuff. South Africa have another chance.

- 39' SA win a penalty and Smit taps and drives again, another penalty awarded for offside. They kick right into the corner instead of going for three. A real chance with Shaw off the pitch.
- 38' Heaslip looks to have turned the ball over just on the 22 line but then the referee awards a SA put in. SA pressing in these final moments of the half.
37' Yellow card for Simon Shaw for contact with the knees - the referee didn't see it but the line judge did. The Lions will be down to 14 for 10 minutes.

- 32' (3-13) TRY LIONS - The Lions turn the ball over in their own half and move it right to left at great pace. Riki Flutey kicks a ball over the top and chases it himself - it bounces back to him and he just flicks it back to Williams who can romp under the posts for his second try.
- 30' Great quick passing from Bowe and Kearney and Williams - it started and ended with the Welshman but he then tries a kick into the centre but there is no red shirt there.
- 29' More good work from the Lions front row. SA not binding and Lions win a penalty in their own 22 and clear the danger.
- 27' Ndungane storms down the right and looks to scoop a pass back into play from inside the 22 but Heaslip does enough to gather the ball.
- 26' (3-8)DISASTER FOR THE LIONS FROM THE CONVERSION - Right in front of the post Jones sees the ball drop off the tee on his run-up so no two points. To be fair looking at the try there might have been a block from Simon Shaw so perhaps they should be happy with the five.
- 25' TRY FOR THE LIONS! Jamie Heaslip bulldozes himself through a few men - SA think they have him but he gets back up and continues the run and then he feeds Shane Williams who can run under the posts.
- 24' Fine defence from the Lions in the end though. Olivier had found a couple of gaps and Ndungane nearly got in before Matthew Rees made a final tackle. The Lions then turned the ball over and Phillps cleared with a fine kick.
- 23' SA find a couple of gaps and are now deep in the Lions 22.
- 22' Clever little kick from Steyn catches out Kearney for once as he cannot deal with the bouncing ball - South Africa scrum in Lions territory.
- 21' Bowe blokes a kick from Steyn with his boot but cannot gather as it flies into touch.
- 20' Ndungane just rips the balls out of Joe Worsley's hands ending another Lions attack.
- 19' Vickery is really standing up well to the Beast in the scrum. Mtawarira is lucky to escape a penalty for bringing down a scrum.
- 18' Nokwe is quick as you like on the South Africa wing but he needs to gather the ball first! He has just knocked on after being fed down the left.
- 17' Lions not making the most of the ball they are getting in central positions. Phillips the latest to be penalised for hanging on but to be fair Brussouw had wrapped him up good and proper.
- 16' Monye with a good clearance under pressure from Olivier after a terrible drop goal attempt from Steyn dropped short leading to a tricky situation.
- 15' Booming clearance though from Steyn - the Lions wanted a penalty for a SA man coming in from the side.
- 14' Matfield drops a ball though and the Lions now can attack the other way with ball in hand.
- 13' Du Preez taps a penalty to himself after an offside deep in his own half and drives straight to halfway.
- 12' (3-3) Shane Williams with that poor kick and then Jamie Heaslip hangs onto his man too long on the ground. Morne Steyn pops over an easy penalty and quick as you like we are level.
- 10' Poor kick from Williams sees South Africa have a line-out just outside the 22 - they claim the ball cleanly too and can attack now.
- 9' (0-3) Lions pressure the South African scrum and force them up which leads to a penalty and Stephen Jones makes no mistake this time! The Lions take an early lead.
- 8' Some good passing from the Lions but just as they get close to the 22 Tommy Bowe knocks on. Very open and frantic start to this match and Kearney looking superb again.
- 7' Another super run from Kearney sees him go from deep in his own half into the South African half - another chance for the Lions to attack.
- 6' But the ball is then turned over and Kirchner with a hefty boot clears to halfway although not to touch.
- 5' Kearney kicks another penalty into touch inside the 22 - big line-out coming up here.
- 4' South Africa now give away a penalty just past half way a little to the right. Jones tries for the posts but it goes just wide - first chance gone.
- 3' Martyn Williams has looked great with ball in hand a couple of times already - a break from him and then Rob Kearney sees the Lions pass half-way.
- 2' Kirchner kicks deep into the Lions 22 but Monye is able to deal with it - very open start to this match.

I've just heard Dickinson tell Smit that his player jumped and was held in the air before the ball was thrown into the lineout and not to do it again. Surely this is a penalty, not a warning???
