- 73' Gloucester are in the ascendance now and Sale must be careful not to lose this game.

- 2' Two minutes and two mistakes from Gloucester as Robinson kicks directly to touch from just outside his 22.
- 1' PENALTY Gloucester find themselves offside from a knocked on kick off and Hodgson makes no mistake with his first kick off the night.
- 1' Charlie Hodgson starts proceedings. It's a must win game for both sides and Sale are in their away strip of white due to a mix up in the delivery of their kit, they'll be hoping it's not an omen of their performance tonight.
- - GLOUCESTER ONE TO WATCH: He may have only started five games this season but Mike Tindall has managed to make it into Martin Johnson's England squad for the autumn internationals. Tindall is by far the most experienced of the centers in the squad but due to his lack of game time Johnson has released him to play this weekend which suggests he still has something to prove to the England boss.
- - GLOUCESTER TEAM NEWS: Bryan Redpath will be delighted to welcome back Mike Tindall. The Gloucester defence has lacked anything resembling organisation and the experienced England centre is the perfect man to sure up their porous line. Tindall will be partnered in the centre by Kiwi Tim Molenaar. Nicky Robinson returns at 10 and in the pack Paul Doran-Jones replaces the injured Alasdair Dickinson and Andy Hazell comes in for Akapusi Qera.
- - SALE ONE TO WATCH: Wales prop Eifion Roberts with be looking to respond to comments Warren Gatland made this week regarding his fitnessÂ…or lack there of. Gatland said, "to play at international level he still needs to get a bit fitter and drop a bit of weight". So expect a big response from the 21 stone plus prop.
- - SALE TEAM NEWS: Sale finally have something resembling their first choice backline with Dwayne Peel and Charlie Hodgson combing for the first time this season, they also welcome back Lee Thomas in his preferred position of centre, having deputised admirably at fly half while Hodgson was injured. In the pack last week's try scorer, James Gaskell, makes way for Carl Fearns, David Seymour rotates with Luke Abraham, Jack Forster starts at tighthead and the Brent Cockbain adds some experience in the second row.
- - It's Friday night and another trip to Sale's Edgeley Park as Premiership strugglers, Sale and Gloucester, do battle and attempt to kick start their stuttering seasons. The last 13 meetings between these teams have gone the way of the home side. This week Sale chairman, Brian Kennedy, made an impassioned plea for the people of the north west to get behind the Sharks. We'll see if the Edgeley Park faithful respond but with only one win so far this season, coming in the open game against Leicester, the team need to give them something to cheer about.
