Great win for England, and, being an Ireland fan, it­ does help the cause for the 'final' in Cardiff­ next weekend. Martin Johnson was a great captain, and­ will be a great manager. So what if he is having a few­ problems trying to find his feet? Don't all­ managers go through periods like this? He could lead­ England to a World Cup win yet, as a manager, just as­ in Nov 2003, as a player in Sydney, when the referee­ was so blatantly on the side of Australia, in that­ final. Johnson is a admirable titan of World Rugby,­ and will always be viewed as such by anyone who knows­ anything about the game.

Don't know laboca, the only difference and­ advantage is Cardiff but I really wouldn't like to­ judge this one. I will be down the Crown & Anchor­ just off the strip at daft oclock in the morning­ though. And there's a whole group of us, Irish,­ English, Scottish and us lot so whatever happens it­ will be a good day! I agree with MW 100%! Let´s celebrate the game here,­ not hurl abuse just because our team is not at the top­ of their game or have seen better times disappear. How­ great it must be for Wales - the nation and the team -­ to be enjoying winning consistently again. Glory days,­ be they 2003 or whenever, are in the past, remember­ them yes, but look to the future. A culture in sport or­ otherwise that dwells in the past, stays in the past.­ Gross patriotism bordering on racism is ugly and­ unnecessary.
