    Time:80'
    • Italy
    • France
    • 80' France go for one last try but ball goes to ground and ref blow for full-time. 50-8 to France and Les Bleus bounce back in style after defeat to England last week. As for Italy, well they have clearly gone back in this championship and have much work to do as they finish the tournament winless and with the wooden spoon. Now for Twickenham.
    • 79' Another powerful burst from Bastareuad and the replacement makes 40 yards before feeding Traille, whose pass then goes to ground.
    • 76' France pinch ball from ruck and feed Malzieu, alone on the blindside, and the replacement wing has no-one marking him as he canters in for a simple touch down. Try number seven for France. 50-8.
    • 70' Bastareaud makes typical burst, Heymans provides good support and feeds Michalak who pops it up superbly for Medard to go over for his second try. Lovely effort from the French. 45-8.
    • 69' France looking to bring Bastareaud into play. Replacement Picamoles goes close, Servat continues attack supported by Chabal and Jauzion, but Italy defence holds firm and they win penalty to relieve pressure.
    • 63' Dusautoir has hurt his shoulder in collision with Chabal.
    • 61' Bastareaud on for Fritz in France midfield.
    • 60' Both sides looking to run everything now. Looks like we'll have a few more tries before the end of this one!
    • 57' Lovely chip and chase from Marcato, Bergamsaco in support feeds Parisse and the skipper goes over for a fabulous try. Well-deserved try for the outstanding Italy number eight. 40-8.
    • 55' France again on Italy line. Servat held up short, Nallett also goes close and replacement Domingo - we think - finally grounds the ball for France's sixth try. 40-3.
    • 52' Michalak on for Parra as France continue to attack.
    • 51' France respond. Fritz claims ball from chip ahead and tries to barge his way over in the corner but superb tackle from Parisse - who else - bundles the centre into touch.
    • 50' Chabal makes another burst through Italy defence and it needs a tackle from behind from Bergamasco to halt the rampaging lock. Italy try gamely to run out of defence.
    • 47' Italy concede another penalty. France opt for goal and Parra nails another good kick to make it 35-3 France. Italy in real danger of a thrashing in front of their home fans.
    • 45' Italy try to rebound immediately. Forward pick and drive close to France line, but McLean chip through too long and chance goes begging.
    • 43' Parra lands converion to make it 32-3.
    • 42' Wayward Bergamasco pass puts Italy under immediate pressure. But Italy secure ball and try to run from deep. Looks like the home side will chuck the ball around this half but Bergamasco tries to kick ahead only into the hands of Heymans who trots over for their fourth try! 30-3 France.
    • 41' Trinh-Duc gets the second half started.
    • 40' Italy knock on Parra box kick and ref Rolland blows for half-time. France in complete control at 25-3. Italy have it all to do in the second half and will need to tighten up their defence if they are to avoid a huge defeat.
    • 38' It's all France as they look to score another try before half-time. But ball is knocked on and Italy have scrum on their 22, which they choose to run. Bergamasco makes superb break from deep and finds Parisse in support, only for move to break down in next phase. Good tap tackle from Chabal stops Parisse burst.
    • 35' France on the attack again as they spread ball wide to Heymans on left wing. Forwards continue attack from lineout but Italy win penalty for France not releasing.
    • 32' Parra lands penalty and all of a sudden France lead 25-3.
    • 31' Parra puts up box kick from restart, France reclaim the ball after Griffen mistake, Dusautoir bursts clear and feeds Medard for France's third try. 23-3 France.
    • 29' France win lineout on Italy 10-yard line and Trinh-Duc sells dummy inside, steps first tackler and breezes over from 40 yards. 18-3 and France moving out of sight.
    • 26' Parra keeps kick low and lands exellent conversion from out wide. Lovely kick. 13-3 France.
    • 24' Trinh-Duc high ball superbly taken by Jauzion, France recycle and Chabal charges down the left, breaks two tackles and goes over for the game's first try. 11-3 France.
    • 23' Penalty to Italy for France holding down jumpers at lineout. Another shot for Marcato and this time the full-back is on target, judging the wind perfectly. 6-3 France.
    • 22' Traille and Heymans try to run out of defence but Italy tackling is good and Jauzion forced to kick to touch just outside his 22.
    • 19' Parra is down after huge collision with Parisse.
    • 17' France obstruct loose ball at lineout and Italy have their first penalty. Marcato has to re-set the ball, which is an indication of how strong the breeze is! The full-back fails to get his side on the scoreboard as he pulls kick just wide.
    • 13' McLean plays ball on the ground and France have another chance on goal. Parra again on target and France lead 6-0.
    • 11' Italy concede another penalty, Heymans makes break into 22 but grubber too long and Italy touch down for drop out.
    • 9' Traille counters from deep. France keep ball alive with Dusautoir but Trinh-Duc pass goes astray and allows Italy to kick downfield.
    • 6' Italy offside from Griffen kick and Parra lands opening goal in difficult wind. France lead 3-0.
    • 4' Grubber from Canale puts Traille under pressure, but France secure the ball and clear downfield. Italy continue their good start only for McLean to concede penalty for holding on. France kick to touch for lineout inside Italy 22.
    • 2' France are playing into the wind first half and could struggle to get their kicks away. Italy make a decent start, spreading the ball to Zanni on the left wing before recycling and attacking the other flank.
    • 1' Luke McLean gets the game started. France secure the ball and Parra kicks downfield.
    • - It's unusually chilly in Rome this afternoon. The sun is shining, sort of, but there's a stiff breeze and the temperatures are lower than normal.
    • - Wing Julien Malzieu, centre Mathieu Bastareaud and lock Jerome Thion are dropped to the bench. Prop Lionel Faure drops out altogether. In two positional changes, Sebastien Chabal switches from backrow to second row and Maxime Medard from fullback to wing.
    • - Under-fire France coach Marc Lievremont has made four changes to the side crushed by England. Ful-lback Damien Traille, centre Florian Fritz, flanker Julien Bonnaire and tight-head prop Fabien Barcella are promoted to the starting XV.
    • - Italy coach Nick Mallett has kept faith with the side that pushed Wales all the way before going down 20-15 as his side go in search of their first win of the championship. As usual, look for a big forward effort from the Azzurri.
    • - Good afternoon and welcome to the first of three games on the final weekend of the 2009 Six Nations championship. First up, Italy against France from the Stadio Flaminio in Rome, where Les Bleus will look to make amends for the 34-10 thumping at the hands of England last weekend.
