- 19' Poor kick from Sexton just outside the 22 – just got stuck in the pitch and Goode can gather and clear without much trouble. Only to just outside the 22 though.
- 18' Roars from the Irish fans as they turn the ball over at their own 10m line and then they win a penalty as Haskell fails to move away.
- 17' England have a penalty at midfield – just seen a replay of Healy's stamp too and it was a little nasty – the English player was on the wrong side though.
- 16' Kick to the 22 again but England once again turn the ball over not once but twice first from the line-out and then after the ball slipped out – sloppy from the Irish.
- 15' The two sets of forwards have a little scrap at midfield – the referee tells both captains to calm their men down. Ireland have a penalty at midfielder – the English got annoyed as it seems Healy came in and stamped one of their men.
- 14' Mick McCarthy gathers from the line-out and then Ireland keep it in hand and Earls clears the danger by running after finding a gap. Looks like Ireland have a chance to switch from left to right but Sexton decides to kick the other way.
- 13' The move breaks down though as Alex Goode slips while trying to pass to Ashton and the ball goes out for an Irish line-out.
- 12' Decent scrum from England – their turn to try and find a gap inside the Irish 22.
- 11' It gets worse for Ireland too as Zebo has a knock and is going off – Keith Earls comes on.
- 11' Ireland now knock the ball on inside their own 22 – that is their third handling error already – chance for England with the scrum.
- 10' Ireland hold possession for a good few phases but without progress – great defence from England who push Ireland back to the 22 and then Aston nicks possession and clears up the other end.

14 englishmen and 6 points in ten minute need we say more, except that Ireland stayed with 15 men is beyond me. However bad conditions 100% effort by both teams, to many errors from ireland and please stop stomping.
We have the makings of a very good side for the near future. Very good.

What a cracking game, two super sides that played in heavy conditions. Just a pity the the FRENCH referee wasn't of the same caliber as the players. The IRB needs to have a look at this guy, he spoiled many set plays from both teams. Again, well done to all the players
